The AcuPulse CO2 Treatment
AcuPulse CO2 is performed in-office while you are awake and resting comfortably. Topical anesthetic will be applied to your face, and you will be given protective glasses for your eyes during treatment. A handheld AcuPulse CO2 treatment head is then moved over the targeted area as the laser pulses are emitted, delivering precise laser energy to the skin. After treatment, a moisturizer, such as Aquaphor, is applied to the treated area.
The length of the treatment varies depending on the size of the treatment area. For smaller areas, a session may take as little as ten minutes.
