What Is JUVÉDERM
JUVÉDERM is a family of hyaluronic acid cosmetic gel fillers combined with lidocaine. They’re used to smooth wrinkles and deep creases in the face, such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines. They can also be used to augment the lips and cheeks. Facial contouring can also be accomplished with JUVÉDERM to improve the facial silhouette. JUVÉDERM Injection Process
A very fine needle is used to gently inject JUVÉDERM beneath the skin. The smooth gel compound instantly reduces the appearance of wrinkles, lines, and folds by adding volume to the treated area. A topical numbing cream may be applied before treatment if desired.
Once beneath the skin, the hyaluronic acid in JUVÉDERM binds with water and functions like an internal framework to support healthy skin. It helps absorb and retain water, acting as a naturally occurring internal moisturizer.

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA is a hyaluronic acid gel filler used to plump the facial areas in the cheeks: the apex, apple, and hollow. This reduces the appearance of sagging skin and wrinkles.
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA targets this area to restore the ogee curve and increase the volume in the cheek while reducing sagging skin and wrinkles caused aging. Studies have shown that its volumizing effects can last up to two years under the proper conditions.
JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA
JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA is a hyaluronic acid gel filler that also adds volume to the lips and smoothes vertical lip lines. JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA can provide gentle contouring for the correction of lip asymmetry. JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA also subsequently adds a healthy, silky sheen to the lips after application.
Compared to other gels, JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA is a softer, smoother hyaluronic acid gel filler and allows for more subtle modifications to the face than its counterparts. JUVÉDERM VOLLURE is the latest product in the JUVÉDERM line. JUVÉDERM Results and Recovery
The recovery period for JUVÉDERM treatments is minimal. Some patients may experience slight redness, puffiness, or soreness at the injection sites, which typically resolves quickly. Mild bruising can also occur in some cases. Most patients are able to return to normal activities immediately following treatment. Results can last between six months and two years, depending on the specific product, and youthful results can be maintained with routine injection sessions.
